*EDIT* - i'm unsure if you are able to see the linked images, as I am in work and my work proxy filters out imgur embedded images - so i will include an additional link below each picture just to be sure.

Hi guys I have quite a few questions and I would greatly appreciate any input,

I'm halfway through my first build , I've just got the GPU and a few case things to wire up.
I'm just a bit confused about where some of the wires connect.

So the following is the power for LEDS and stuff I assume. Firstly, what is this connection called and where does it go?

The following is the front panel header from my motherboard manual.
My second question is, does that power connector from above - correspond to these front panel headers?

Because I have already plugged in a few of these, (POWER SW and HDD LED) but there is no indication on the end of the connectors as to which side is negative and which side is positive. The only one which indicates polarity is the HDD LED, so does this mean that it doesn't matter for the others?

Also I kind of like to understand what the function of all these are, if anyone could outline what they are actually for I would be grateful.

Finally, I'm perplexed as to how my case fans connect (I'm using a Phanteks eclipse 400S) and the following is an image from my manual - although I don't think my actually fan connections look like this.

As you can see, it says in this image that the PH-CB-Y3P is not included, however coming out of the rear side of my case I can see something slightly resembling this connection. I think one of the splitters is already connected to a fan - that leaves 1 side of the splitter exposed for a new connection. I just don't know what I am supposed to connect to this splitter because it doesn't connect directly to the mobo, and none of the PSU cables seem to fit it either.

I know that I need a 4-pin connector for the SYS_FAN header on my motherboard, but it really seems that neither my case nor my motherboard came with any sort of 4 pin fan connector.

If you guys could tell me what the adapter is called that I need to buy for my fans that would be great.

Thanks a lot to anyone who can help.

Where did the first pic come from?? I cant see it in the manual

The power SW pic in the first pic gets connected to the pw+ and pw- on the front panel pic in pic 2

Reset SW goes to Res+ and Res- in pic 2. HDD led goes to HD+ and HD-
Yup the only connectors that have polarity are the hdd led and power.

You'll know because the leds wont light up if theyre the wrong way round

The first pic the bottom pic looks like a sata connection?? Is that what youre asking?
,
The 2nd pic does what it says. Ones for reset one for power, one for a speaker, and the other 2 for the hdd and power leds.

The last pic as it says is a splitter. Thats if you want to connect 2 fans to one fan header on the mobo. You cant put too many on one fan header. Otherwise it can kill it

The speaker for the system panel header looks like this

You can connect this and it'll beep once or more if there's something wrong. Its a way of diagnosing probs. If something doesnt work after you've built it

Hi there, the first connection is not a SATA connection - as you can see the SATA connection does not have notches,
SATA-B_DriveEnd.jpg
also this is from my case directly and it also says that it is for the LEDs but I'm really not sure where it goes.. (I know it is probably hard to tell by looking at that diagram its pretty bad.)

Also thanks for the advice on a speaker but I already have a speaker on the way
