I am using a GA H55-D2H Motherboard with 2GB Kingston RAM and 1st Gen i3 processor.
I just bought a new kvr1333d3n9 /8g RAM. When installing the RAM, i am facing a problem of not starting up and crashing. Is there a compatibility issue?can you pls suggest me what may be the issue.
Also, if anyone can suggest what may be the solution. Either to change the RAM or the Motherboard and which model of each.
Thank you so much

Well not too sure if 1156 mobos are still around.

Since, they're pretty much obsolete. Unless you can find one 2nd hand or new on sites like Ebay or something

Something like one of these.

Altho depending on what BIOS is on whatever, it may need a BIOS update before the CPU you have now will work

What country are you in?

You have to check which one you want, and which mobo supports up to 32 DDR 3 ram. So you can use that 8 GB stick
