Im building a pc. I was considering the 1060 as the gpu but im seeing second hand 980 sell for the same prices. My question is that will the G4560 bottlneck the 980?

i knew that it would create some bottleneck here and there. But the better card today is the GTX 1060? :)

i was looking forward to a reply like this. If you can make an estimate, how much bottlneck would there be? a lot or just a little?

I could maybe make an estimate in a specific game. But no not as a whole, it will entirely depend on the game.

I'll maybe play GTA V, Assassins creed series, CS:GO, maybe overwatch. Also the RE7 if it can run it. Can it run RE7? Lol

gta5, ass creed games, and re7 are super cpu bound

simply adding in a 1060 will let you play them yes, but not very well at all

re7 minimum intel cpu = i5-4460

cpu compatability depends on your motherboard

Yes. I'm buying an LGA 1151 Socket motherboard.
