Hey guys. I'm still quite new to the custom gaming PC scene. I currently have an i5 750 cpu and an AMD Radeon 7950 Gigabye GPU. Its fairly good, but I need more.I was looking to get something like an Nvidia GTX 970, probably the best gpu in my price range. Along with this, i though i may as well fork out some extra money and buy a new processor, probably the i5 2500k.
Now, i know that this CPU/GPU combo is good, and the cpu wont bottleneck the gpu, but i have no idea whether the new cpu and gpu would be compatible in my system. I've looked high and low on the internet but to no avail. Power supply is not a problem, i currently have a 620watt supply, but can easily upgrade. All i want to know is if the cpu/gpu combo will be compatible with my motherboard.
