Ram is not an issue , 2400 will run at 2133 automatically on a b or h series board.
Just be aware of BIOS compatibility as I mentioned before.
A lot of boards will not run the newer dual threaded pentium without a BIOS update.
You need a compatible skylake chip to flash them or they won't boot with the pentium installed

Its a catch 22 situation , a b250 or h270 board will support the pentium out of the box 100% guaranteed.
The issue is the cheapest b250 boards are 70/80$/€

Meaning a cheap h110+i3 6100 will coat about the same as the pentium+a b250.

The 6100 is a stronger CPU hands down
