What happened to my power supply?

Hlo guys,i am in a big trouble so plzz help me. My cpu is not getting power.
I was playing gta 4 at high graphics and suddenly a small hitching noise came from cpu and i got closed .and when i started it again it wont show a single light on mobo or any fan spinning or any sign of life.
My specs
Pentium e5400 2.7ghz(not oc)
1gb ddr2 ram
Zotac geforce gtx650ti 1gb
Psu-Odessey 450 PA 10091 (450 WATTS)
Plzz help me with this. Is my powersupply got dead or is there any other problem and how can i fix this?? plzz help guyz.

it is a old machine so not only the psu can be dead

first begin opening the case and do a visual inspection of the mainboard itself, see if you see dead capacitors, do a search on googl to see how a dead capacitor looks like

then check if all the fans are spinning properly and clean the dust inside now that you have the case open

then remove the psu and search on internet how to test a psu, turn on a psu with one cable

if you have another psu, you can try that psu on that pc, if you know that the psu is good and pc refuses to turn on, your problem is more related to the mainboard and other parts than on the psu
