So. I've been reading around here for answers to my problems im having, and I've tried EVERYTHING.

So far nothing works, so im sorry if this is a repost or something.

But I'll walk you through my process so far.

Ive tried msconfig>advanced boot>maximum memory.

2x 4G DDR3 1333 DIMM CL9 Transcend RAM
ASUS M5A97 PRO ( Yes I know it's old )
Windows 7 x64

I've removed the RAM's to check if the slots are working. They are.
I've set the values correct in BIOS 9-9-9-24
I've also set the Hz to 1.333 as it should, and I've tried both 1.500/1.600 V

I have no idea why I have this problem. I've literally tried everything I've read and know myself. Please help a brother out!

Thanks

//Michael

Solution
Go to MSCONFIG >Advanced Boot>Processors and Maximum memory to be unchecked. Do not change anything, just uncheck these two, apply and restart.

That should re-address the memory. Or try a reseat of CMOS Battery.

You might also try individual RAM test with one RAM and other slot empty. Then try together.
