Display port cable

Hi guys,

So I had this problem with my build here's what went on...

Cold boot> please enter setup to recover bios settings. Press F1 to run set up

Also it won't boot causing the Asus anti-surge to act up

I found out what was causing this and it was the display port cable I bought.. I was wondering why would the cable do all of this?

Long story short... DisplayPort has 19 wires but 20 pins. Cheap knock off cables connect pin 20 which is a big no no. Get a displayport certified cable and your cable woes go away.
