This started hapenning when I was playing a game. PC froze and red dots started appearing on screen. If I pressed CTRL-ALT-DEL immediately I could've stopped the process. But whenever I started playing, 2 minutes in and it happened again. Eventually it would BSOD with a message about atikmpag.sys failure.

After a restart, there were two thick, vertical red lines on screen, even in startup bios screen.
Then I couldn't even boot it up because it automatically went into BSOD. So, I started in safe mode . Safe mode had the lines too. I uninstalled and deleted the graphics drivers from device manager While doing so, I've noticed there's an exclamation point next to my monitor name. I don't know what that could mean, since I'm not sure it wasn't here before.

I rebooted again and the lines were still there, but it booted into normal mode. The resolution was off and I changed it. Then my monitor went blank with "Mode not supported" message and now it won't show me the screen after the initial login screen.

I don't know what to do anymore. It's probably my video card failing, but it never showed any issue prior to this one.

Solution
Sure sounds like your video card is failing, if the problem persists after letting the GPU to cool down (it could have been an overheating issue) + reseating it in your mobo then it seems your gpu is gone.
