Hy all at the Tom's community.
My current system is: W10 Pro 64 bits, i5 3450, Asus P8Z77 and 2x 4Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9). So I have 2 spare DRam slots.
Would like to go for 16Gb or maybe more, but since the used market for memories where I live is very weak I may want to just to add some memory on the free slots.
Questions?
Do I need memories of the exactly same specs as my actual ones?
Can I add a single 1x 8Gb module?
Can I add 16Gb more (2x 8Gb or 1x 16Gb)?
If I add faster timing memory or bigger capacity should I prefer installing it on slots 1 and 3? Does it matter?
