Hey guys, i'm looking to buy a CPU cooler for my I7-4790, because it reaches high temps (75-78º) while gaming with the stock cooler. The thing is, i can't find much information about either brand. Where i live, they cost half as much as a Hyper 212 Evo. My current options are:

DeepCool Gammaxx 300
Id-Cooling SE-213 V2
Id-Cooling SE-913x

I don't expect the quality to be on par with CM or Noctua, but will they be good enough to drop my temps significantly? Anyone got experience with these brands? Thanks for your help!

The only thing that worries me about the Gammaxx 300 is ram clearance. Anyone got any info on the Id-Cooling models? They have way better ram clearance, and that makes them attractive.

I have an Asus B85M-G R2.0, it will block the first slot for sure and im planning to add more ram in the near future, so that is definitely a problem for me. That's why im leaning towards the ID-Cooling ones, but i couldn't find any reviews of the two models available here.

Yep, all ID-Cooling heatsinks are pushed back so that the whole cooler is centered with it's base, rather than just the heatsink, which gives complete RAM clearance. I think it's a very smart design choice and i don't really understand why other brands don't do the same. Pics for reference.

Design-wise, i like it a lot. What puzzles me is if the quality is good.

The Id cooling ones??
The 913 is only a 92mm tower so I wouldn't consider it.
The 213 looks OK , in all fairness dimensions are very similar to the deepcool.

Are you sure the gammaxx will intrude on the ram slot ?? Its fairly slimline , 45mm from socket centre to front edge of fan.

Regarding the heatsink offsets silentiumpc & cryorig both do that design on all their coolers now.
I do agree kitchen really is a better design choice especially for matx boards.

Looked at your board , that's a fairly bad design on the ram slots (that board is non standard & narrower than a standard matx size), you'll rarely see ram slots extend into the 16 x pcie-x area like on yours.

I ended up getting the 913x and it dropped my idle temps from 38º to 30º and my load temps from 78-80º to 58-62º. Overall im pretty pleased with the results so far and would recommend ID Cooling, especially for their value. Hope it withstands the test of time now.
