i have 4x2g of dd4, what are my upgrade options?

Solution
you can, but it wont be a good idea.
unless you can find same brand/same stick with identical chips on it.
intels are less sensitive on the ram (vs amd), i still wouldn't "risk" it and possibly end up with problems later.

for gaming, 16gb will be fine, but for photo/video stuff and if you gonna keep the rig for a few years, i recommend getting 32gb.
i have 16gb installed, and even without running the newest games (besides siege) i can see usage of around 6-10gb, so to be future proof i go 32gb.
