Symptoms:

After updating my BIOS to the latest version, every now and again (one every week, or every 2 weeks)after I boot my PC and the desktop appears, everything freezes: cursor doesn't move, keys on keyboard don't work even though the keyboard and mouse have their lights on; Shutdown button on the case doesn't work either (unless I keep it pressed for a few seconds to force shutdown; Reset button doesn't work either. No beeps heard. If a disconnect the USB cable from keyboard/mouse and put it back in the light of those 2 devices don't come back on even though they were on before that. The light n the keyboard only comes on for 1 second and then it turns off. If I connect my mobile hone, the phone get charged up, but no sound of "new device found" can be heard (obviously no message can be seen because the Desktop is frozen) so I presume there is power in the USB ports but don't know why the keyboard doesn't light up anymore.

Only thing I can do is to Force Shutdown the PC, but after that, when I turn it back on it stays in a BOOT LOOP with no POST or LOGO and case fans on FULL SPIN for a few seconds and then shuts down only to start again with the same effect. No error beeps. This happens until I shut it down from the Shutdown button, which now works again.

After that it only boots normal again if I unplug the power cord from the AC socket in the wall, or turn the Power Supply OFF and back ON.

All of this started after upgrading the BIOS; no other hardware or software changes were made to the PC apart from buying a new mouse (Roccat Nyth).

Like I said, it only happens once in 10-20 boots, otherwise my PC work normal.
Tested Memory and CPU witch came out fine, plus it never happened before upgrading the BIOS.
Managed to successfully reflash the BIOS (with @BIOS tool), no change.

Is there any other BIOS update coming up anytime soon? Or is my Motherboard broken for some reason?

Thank you.

Solution
can you downgrade the bios to previous version?
if that doesnt help, its likely to be a psu issue.
you dont have anyone else that owns a pc ?
you dont need to put full load on it, just see if you experience the same problem (and to exclude the psu from the occasion).

if above things dont help, wipe OS drive and clean install..
