I have Dell Precision 490 with 2 Intel xeon 5130s, Nvidia Quadro FX3500, and 4 GB of DDR2 RAM. I tried to install Windows XP sp3 from a Disk (yes it is good) gave me the BSOD. Tried another HDD didn't work. Tried another HDD from a Dell Optiplex 780 SFF and it worked. The computer works but I would like to put a fresh install of XP on the machine. The PC came with no HDD, so no drivers are in the machine to my knowledge.

I know, the COA on the computer is for XP professional. So I tried To do a fresh install of XP Pro sp3. Then I put in another HDD with pro already on it and it worked. If this helps the bios revision is A06
