Pc repeatedly turns on and off

So recently I built my pc and seemed fine at first, however during a casual game of gta 5, my pc froze and it turned itself off. Now every then I try to turn it on it looks in an on and off cycle without anything on my monitor.
My specs are
I3 6100, stock cpu cooler
Gigabyte gta 1050ti
Gigabyte sniper lga 1151 motherboard

You forgot to include the OS, PSU and chassis as well as your resolution. Please include that. Off the top of my head a system that turns itself off is a sign of either an overheating system/component or your PSU is unable to deliver the necessary power to your system.
