Will the i5 7500 work with a MSI B150 Gaming M3 motherboard?

I read some other threads saying the BIOS will need an update but then it got a bit confusing with some comments saying you might have to bring it in to a store. Just wondering if an i5 7500 will be compatible with a MSI B150 Gaming M3 ATX board. Thanks!

About all of the 1XX boards will support the 7XXX processors but if the board was not manufactured after the BIOS version then it shipped with the older version that needs a BIOS update to get it to work and you must have a supported processor to do that.

Well the bios updated just fine with the 7600k in it its running perfectly at 4.1 ghz
I didn't need a 6th gen processor to set it up just dropped the 7600k in it booted into bios and updated it with the update from that website on a USB drive.
