Hi all,

This problem is really weird because this is working once. It just suddenly failed. I can't remember what I did last that may have caused this problem. Also I have no firewall enabled and is using bitdefender AV free if it helps.

Thanks and more power!

Right click on the drive where you have most of your folders shared, or files.

The root of the drive such as C:

Select share with, make sure all folders and sub folders are shared and single files.
Select if you want share with set users of the network.
Or let anybody who is logged on to the home network you created on your system.
Be able to read the files, copy ect.

Hi Shaun,

I have no problem sharing folders from my PC as anyone from the network can access them. The problem is that I cannot access any shared folder from the network. I even tried to access \\192.168.100.125 (my PC's IP address) in the run command and has the same error message.

diagnose doesn't work?
You can try enabling netbios over TCP/IP.
Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”.

2. Right-Click on the connection and choose Properties.

3. Click “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Version 4” in the list.

4. Click Properties, and then click Advanced.

5. On the Advanced TCP/IP settings windows, go to “WINS” tab.

6. Under NetBIOS setting, click “Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP”, and then click OK.

I tried diagnosing but it just says.
Code:
Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem

I followed your steps enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP but still the same.
