Respected Sir/ Madam
I am facing some power problem in my rig my computer sometimes automatically shuts down without any reason I am using fx 8350 with crosshair v formula z motherboard with 8 gb ddr 3 ram and a 4 tb solid state hybrid drive and a 2 tb , both hard drives are from Seagate I am using haf 932 as pc case too and I have few external drives with power which I connect to store my steam games backup , I am now using a cooler master 650 watts power supply . Is my power supply not able to grab power like it used to do before ? Do I have a faulty power supply ? I want to buy 1000 watts power supply from cooler master .

Solution
Your psu should have enought power to support your current pc (you got around 350-400W power draw), but yes maybe it was affected by the lightning. Can you ask someone to lend his/her psu and test with it? Also try to monitor your temperatures (cpu and gpu)

I don't overclock I am using fx 8350 black edition with amd hd 6670 gpu with asus crosshair v formula z motherboard 650 watts smps from cooler master it was struck back in 2014 with lightning and my power supply never got affected but my last system got fried and now in 2014 I got this new system and 4gb x 2 sticks of corsair ram now recently added 4 tb solid state hybrid drive and previously I had 2 tb Seagate internal hard drives and haf 932 as pc case from cooler master dell 23 inch led dlink router and few external hard drives to store all my steam games .
