I'm in need of a wireless adapter capable of AP mode with a speed greater than 150mbps.
I had try Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I REV. 4.2 but the speed for AP was 65mbps (tested with 2 phones). T
hats just too low.
So any suggestions?
Oh, i forgot to mention. this is for desktop setup so please no mini pci-e and also no M2 cards.
Preferable PCI-e (1x). if not, then a USB will do just fine

Since you were using a system to connect off the internet and conversely use a wireless adapter to as an AP, mind sharing your full system's specs? Could you mention what the 2 phones were? You also didn't stipulate a budget and a link to where you'd like us to choose from since not all products will be available in every region.

Oh sure,
My system is: P8z77-V Deluxe / i5-3570k / 16 Gb of ram and hyperx ssd 240 gb (forgot the model)
My phones are a nexus 5 (1st generation) and asus zenfone 2 (4gb ram version).
both have 2 and 5 Ghz bands
As for a place from where i would like to buy...i have a few. but most of them are in my language so....
http://www.pcgarage.ro/placi-de-retea-wireless/ (for non usb)
http://www.pcgarage.ro/adaptoare-wireless/ (for usb)
well this is one place...but most of the other has pretty much same things

Well i need a device that you tested and know for sure it works with these speeds.

well both phones connected to the wireless card for 65 Mbps
I even try to copy a file from computer to the phone. the speed was around 4.5 MBytes if you convert you'll get 36mbps.
so internet provider has nothing to do with it.

Nope, you got it wrong.
The file transfer was just to test the speed of the wireless device. something that has nothing to do with the internet

So, please i asked a question, i dont need workarounds.
and to clarify this: i need to miracast/cast/share internet to a 4k tv and phones. so the router is useless for miracast.

Now, which wireless device has high speed for AP mode? :)

You're going to have to buy something in this range, all the other devices will be the same if not worse than your Intel AC7260 NGW powered Gigabyte PCI-E wifi card. If you must go all out with not buying a router, get this and use the software AP on it but mind you will be better off getting a router, pair with your phones and then stream to your TV off the phone.
