getting a 120hz 1080p monitor soon, but have to ask first; is there a largely noticeable improvement over a 60hz? i play fps games so i can probably notice it, but its nice to get an opinion. i can get 120 fps in most games too, since i have a gtx 1070. thanks!

1. 120Hz monitors are hard to find. You will mostlikely find 144Hz more common.
2. If your PC can produce 60+ fps, using monitors with higher refresh rate will bring greater joy. You will notice the difference to 60Hz monitor instantly, especially on fast paced games.

It's totally worth it, especially for fps games, there is a huge difference between 60hz and 120hz gaming. If you put both displays in front of you, you can clearly see the difference. Plus there would be no ghosting on 120hz, but keep in mind that it should be having 1ms of response time and 3-5ms of input lag. The lower the values the better.
