So basically I had changed my motherboard from Gigabyte H61m S2P to Gigabyte H61M S. I had not performed a clean windows install since most of the drivers(Including the Chipset driver) were same, and also I didn't want to lose my files. There was no problem while booting and the idle performance of my pc was normal. However I did experienced tremendous lag while playing games which I never used to experience before. After a few weeks, while booting my pc, the screen was completely black and the computer froze. I somehow managed to boot into safe mode and traced the problem to my AMD display driver. I uninstalled it, and it was replaced by Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Ever since then whenever i tried to install AMD Display Drivers, my screen goes black and my computer freezes. Is there a way to fix this problem?
My system specs are :-
1.Intel i7 2600 @ 3.4Ghz
2.O.S - Windows 8.1 64bit
3 Ram - 12GB (8 GB + 4 GB)
4.Motherboard - Gigabyte H61M - S
5.Graphics Card - Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 270X OC 4GB Edition
6.750 GB HDD + 500GB HDD
P.S - On doing a lot of research i did come across a solution which instructed me to delete the file atikmdag.sys in the system32 folder of C Drive. It did solve the problem temporarily since the installation was not hindered. However when i changed the graphics settings through the catalyst manager and opened a game, the screen started to flicker and i ended up with a grey screen and a non responsive computer. Ever since then, I am still encountering the problem of black screen and frozen computer while installing the display driver.
I have also uninstalled the previous graphics driver using display driver uninstaller. Also since I have two hard disks, I reinstalled windows 8.1 on the other one and tried to install the AMD display driver, I once again got a black screen.
Please Help !!

okay download DDU weblink : http://www.wagnardsoft.com/DDU/download/DDU%20v17.0.5.2.exe
SAVE DDU to desktop DO NOT RUN IT
download new driver for video card and save them to desktop\
run DDU it will force to reboot in safe mode and proceed to removing all traces of old drivers
reboots in normal mode, let windows do its thing for a few minutes, when HDD activity has slowed down,
run new video driver.

I tried using DDU, but came across the same black screen while installing the AMD display driver. Is there any other way?

What is you psu voltage? Also get rid of that extra 4gb stick, you don't need it and it slows your rig down especially if it isn't batch matched to the other two sticks. Do you have a friend that you can check your card on his computer? It may be a doa card. Does your monitor work if you plug into the motherboard graphics slot?
