I5 6th gen
Windows 8.1 64 bit
Ram 4gb
HDD 1tb
Nvidia gt 730 2gb ddr5
Will GTA 5 or anything of similar quality run, if necessary, on low settings?

Solution
With the same card paired with a Core i5 2310 and 4gb ddr3 ram, I get about 40 fps in GTA 4. Max:50 Min 35, (While all settings being set to high and shadows to medium..If I turn shadows to high frame drops by 10 fps) I play @1366x768 (16:9).

V-sync doesn't seem to make a difference so I keep it on always. I have seen a max of 55 fps.
You can get newer games to run on that card but at low resolution, preferably under 720p, and with low settings at around 30fps. It's not a question of 'if necessary', it will be required to run at low settings. Don't be fooled by the 2gb vram, that's not going to help. The 730 is the lowest end card you can get and still be considered a 'gaming' card. As such, performance is very, very limited. Whether it's worth it or not is for you to decide.
