Hello, i just bought a new gtx 1070 to replace my gtx 770 but when i installed it, my monitor shows no signal, my pc is booting properly (my keyboard and mouse lights up) but there is no signal on the monitor. If i plug in my old 770, everything works completely fine. I even tried uninstalling nvidia driver, tried without any gpu (only connected to the motherboard), plug in the hdmi instead of displayport, tried on another monitor, etc... i tried everything but still no signal...
Is my new gpu faulty or i am missing something?

Thank you.

My hardware:
Msi Z87-G45
i7-4770k
16gb ram
cx600 psu corsair
windows 10

So apparently, as i expected, the gpu was faulty because i managed to buy a new gtx1080 (for almost the same price as the faulty 1070  ) and everything worked perfectly, no black screen, no blue screen, no driver issue, nothing. So...yeah...
