back when some of the older 750 tis had a legacy / uefi bios switch these latest manufactured ones don't and now may have issue with older board that don't have full uefi bios on them - quite a few guys run in to this now prebuilt computers like dell or hp's get hit the hardest
today there pretty much trying to force folks off there good old builds and things aint as so plug and play anymore ..
if my guess that card may not be so compatible if your board has a older legacy bios
anyway something to look at and good luck
kinda like said here for a example

''Just in front of where you traditionally have the 6-pin connector is a small switch. No, this is not a magical overclocking friendly BIOS switch, but a way to enable the Hybrid BIOS on this card. Hybrid? Position one supports booting from a legacy BIOS, while position two enables booting from a UEFI or legacy BIOS for faster start up or resume times''

''MSI added a dual-BIOS feature to their card, which lets you pick either a UEFI-enabled BIOS or a legacy BIOS.''
