I'm going to buy a pc. I will buy intel 7700k for sure. Now for motherboard I chosen Gigabyte z270 gaming k5.
Price is 190 usd here.
Now I have someone selling slightly used gaming 7 Gigabyte at the same price. Given that Bios update enables 7th gen cpu support, should I go fo gaming 7?it's full of features I've seen

A z270 motherboard is going to manage a 7 series cpu power better.
If the K5 is missing a feature you need, look for a different z270 based motherboard.

One thing which you will NOT get on the older Z170 board is future optane support.
