CrystalDiskInfo states Uncorrectable Sector Count

I built a new computer recently. The document drive is a Western Digital Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5".

When I first ran CrystalDiskInfo, the health was good but it showed Rotate Rate 5400 RPM. I read online somewhere that sometimes the drive spins slower if it doesn't need full speed so I ignored this. The drive has been working fine. No slow downs during accessing files, watching videos or video editing.

Today I checked CrystalDiskInfo again and got a yellow Caution sign with an Uncorrectable Sector Count of 2.

Is this something I need to be worried about? Should I get a new drive?

Images of the 2 crystal disk readings are below, and below that are full system specs.

Thank you.

UPDATE:
Now the drive is showing as GOOD and Uncorrectable Sector Count is back to 0. I'm wondering how this is possible and if anyone else has experienced this.

I've posted in two other forums to see if anyone else might have seen this happen. It bothers me that the drive showed Caution and now shows Good.

Uncorrectable sector counts are bad, mostly because it somewhat represents a defect in the drive. If this drive is new, I would RMA it.

Otherwise, given that it doesn't look like you have any reallocated sectors and any failing sectors, the drive looks fine to use for now. I don't know why the drive would say 5400rpm though.

Thank you both.

I bought the drive in october from a 3rd party seller on amazon so i dont know if i can RMA it. I'll have to contact WD and see.

I'm wondering if the 5400rpm had something to do with the drive being defective.

I'm not gonna take any chances. I'm going to order a new drive. Looks like there is a newer version a little faster WD2003FZEX.

I have all the files backed up on an external drive.

Thanks

Ah I see. It's possible that you somehow ended up with a engineering sample or something. I've heard of that type of things happening on Amazon from third party sellers.

I would certainly still try to contact WD, but if drive did somehow not go through the standard process, the uncorrectable errors could be explained by uncleared manufacturing defects. Some uncorrectable errors are expected during manufacturing. These are detected, recorded, and then the count is reinitialized at the end of the process. It's possible that maybe this drive didn't go through that reinitialization.

Ok so I've been checking CrystalDiskInfo every day while waiting to swap out to a new drive, and nothing changed.
Today I checked it, it made a beeping sound again, and now it shows the drive as GOOD! The Uncorrectable Sector Count is now 0 instead of 2, and there are no other errors showing.

How can this be? I still don't trust the drive, and already bought a new one so I am going to swap them, but is this possible that the errors are just gone?

I didn't do anything like scan the drive and try to repair it, etc.

Thanks.
