Hello, I bought this computer for my little bro and also to use as a VR pc for the living room. Today, my bro accidently spilled some water on the pc, mainly the top towards the front where HDD sits.

What can i do at this point? Should I just let the PC sit for a day or two? I have had a fan blowing on the area for the last hour.

Thank you!

Seems like the beautiful Spec Alpha :)

Anyways, it would be a good idea to take everything apart and let them dry in front of a fan for a day or two. There are nooks and crevices in most of the components which cannot get direct air flow when hooked up.

I have never had water spilled on a computer, however I have had a computer left out in the rain. It had been outside for a day with the side panels off. I bought it inside and left it to air out for about a day and a half. Making sure the components had dried out also. You should be fine as long as it wasn't hooked up to power. Take the chassis apart and leave it to dry out for a while and it should be good. If not, then I would consider getting a new computer.
