Maxtor Basic 750GB hard drive

Hi, My hard drive was working perfectly until a few weeks ago. None of my devices (mac desktop, Windows PC or Tv) recognise it. The green light comes on and that's about all. Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance

If multiple systems can't detect it, it may be dead.
If this is an external drive, it might just be the enclosure.

OK....inside that box (the enclosure) is a regular hard drive.

It might be the actual drive inside that is broken, or it might be the 'box'.

Thanks so much for your prompt responses. I will attempt getting someone who is more versed in this than what I am as removing the cover which is posing to be a challenge. Furthermore I don't know what I'm looking out for. Thank you and really appreciate your feedback. God bless
