Hello guys,

Basically, the problem i am facing this time is i have connected 3 GTX 1080s using two Flexible SLI Bridges. In Nvidia control panel i see that they are connected just fine. However, MSI Afterburner shows that second graphics card is idle. I have Xtreme Gaming as my primary GPU(to which the monitor is connected) and 2 G1s. How can i get all 3 GPUs work?

Thanks in advance.

Well, you have to go into the Nvidia Control Panel, and go to the PhysX and SLI tab, and enable it. When you aren't gaming, one GPU will be idle, or both.

Now for the bad news:
1) 3-way SLI is no longer supported by Nvidia except in a few benchmarks.
2) not all games are going to use SLI at all, and many of the latest games no longer support it. Especially Vulkan and DX12 games.

Sigh. As rontonomo points out you would have to get a special code and even then it is not officially supported by NVidia and per the other message reply you apparently didn't like the answer to games tried on a 3 way 1080 SLI either do not run at all or they do run but the third card is completely idle and is not helping at all. Give that up and "suffer" with a 2 way SLI.
