My parents will NOT let me get a job so please dont say to do that. A few weeks ago we got a hp envy laptop from costco. The laptop is for the family. Anyway, a while ago my dad said that if I got all a's except for one b (and i did) he would give me a budget of 500 dollars to get parts for a gaming pc. He said that I could build it in the summer. So summer came around and my dad and mom made plans to visittheir home country. This happened in late may. I asked if I could order the parts in early june when school had not ended yet and got a no. So after we came back from our trip I asked if I could have the money for it now and my dad said no because i need to focus on school. In early november/december my dad said I could have $900 to build a pc. He went back on it and I asked if I could have money for a gaming pc for christmas. Instead I got a $1 chocolate bar from sprouts and $40. And then I got $40 for my birthday. I have about $300 saved up including a $100 loan to my dad from a year ago. I "get" a $5 allowance every week which I never get because my dad makes random periods of time I have to ask for my allowance to get.I made a $335 gaming pc (not including windows which I can pirate) a few days ago. It is a gtx 1050 and i3 6100. I am getting all A's in school. I have to share a laptop with the family and a samsung 720p galaxynote 7.0 with my sister. I do not have a phone even though I have offered numerous times to pay for a $200 phone in full and use it only on wifi.

By this statement alone I have determined that they are trying to keep their precious child from engaging in illegal online piracy, I applaud their decision.

A legitimate Windows license is just as important as any other component of a computer system. The problem here is that Tom's Hardware does not support software piracy in any way shape or form. As such, this thread is being closed.

I am willing to pay for it all by myself.
