hey guys please help me out with a correct advise..

first of all i am having gtx 980 on a very poor cpu which is amd a4 6300 3.7ghz dual core, and also saving money for i5 4460.
while playing this game my pc was suffering serious bottleneck issue even though playing in lowest possible settings and that is obvious i know.
but a strange thing which happend today that my game got freeze each time, in same place while playing in the first chapter itself.
i have tried to re-install the game, and also have updated the driver but nothing helped me...!!!

is it because of my poor processor??
since i am a newbie i don't have any idea about this, help me out...

Solution
Right now, I'm afraid you're going to need a new computer. Steam recommends an i7 CPU and a 1060 nVidia card with 3GBs of video RAM. Even when going by the minimum requirements (Core i5, GTX 760 and comparable AMDs), you'll be teetering on the brink of the abyss constantly with your current setup. This is what you're experiencing at the moment - the CPU simply cannot keep up and shuts down to protect itself.

An i5-4460 working with your GTX 980 should keep you in the clear, so put aside as much money as you can. And you need 8GBs of RAM no matter what.

Best of luck,
GreyCatz.
