Hi please can i gather some help on what parts to buy. so I am upgrading my pc to run 1440p at 144hz

i7-4820K (3.7GHz)
Motherboard ASUS P9X79 LE
8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X BEAST DUAL-DDR3 2133MHz
4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770
CORSAIR 750W RM SERIES
500gb 850 evo ssd
Super Quiet 22dBA Triple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler
FRACTAL DESIGN ARC MIDI R2 MID-TOWER CASE

My gpu is in desperate need of an upgrade and I am looking towards the gtx 1080, Does anyone know anything about my motherboard I cant find any reviews or anything about it. Is it any good for gaming should i upgrade or is it perfectly okay? Also will it make any diffence adding an extra 8gb of ram to make 16? I play games like arma to miscreated all the way to gta v and know they can be ram intensive? 1 last question, how is my cooling? i have that 1 cpu cooler and only 3 stock fans in the case should i grab a couple of fans are a water cooler for the cpu? Some help would be really appreciated.

I would just upgrade the gpu, a 1080 is good for 1440p 144hz. That motherboard is fine.

For the games you mentioned no adding more ram likely wont do anything, more ram will only help if you are using all of what you have. However some current like bf1 and definitely future games are starting to call for 16gb of ram. If you do get more ram get the EXACT model of ram you currently have however there is still no guarantee it will work, buying ram sticks separately can be hit or miss.

What are cpu temps? That cooler should be fine for stock clocks.

How do I insert a photo,
Cpu core: value 62° Max: 65°
temp#1 value: 99° Max 110°
temp#2 value: 62° Max 62°
temp#3 value 33° Max 33°
^Dont know what they are

Also my gtx770 sits around 80°

This was all under load in a demanding game.

the x79 supports quad channel so 2x8gb is good to go . go with the same ram. with 750w u can ugrade to a gtx1080 without any hickups. i would recommend the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Superclocked Gaming ACX 3.0 . if u r happy with the current cpu cooler, not getting too hot on full load, then fine. or u can look at deepcool gammaxx 400 for low cost or lepa aquachanger 240 for water cooling. i would go for lepa if doing some overclocking.

Going for a 1080 just need to decide which one would like one with rgb lights as my case has a window and is on display so would be a nice touch also going to throw in another stick of 8gb ram
