Low FPS after buying new CPU (and monitor).

Hello everyone i recently bought a new cpu (i7-2600, i know it's old) and a new monitor (144hz), previously i had a i5-2300 and i would get up to 150 fps on CSGO. But now i get around 100 fps.
None of my CSGO or graphic card settings have been changed, does anybody have any idea what could be the problem?

Specs:
GTX 960 2GB
4x2 GB RAM
I7-2600
ASRock Z75 Pro3
And monitor: BenQ xl2411
And i'm running windows 8.1 pro

While i play the CPU usage is about 20%.
I've tried to play without my gpu and i had even less frames, so i guess the GPU is connected properly.
When i play, although i have my settings at the lowest possible, i feel like the edges are too sharp like some 3D software is involved but @Nvidia settings i turned everything off.
