Hello,

I am looking for help on a strange problem. I have built a new computer and when I plugged it in and turned it one everything lights up, the motherboard, fans, lights and graphics card all start up even the hard drives. But theirs no beeping to indicate a problem and none of the USB Ports on the board have power, and theirs no video output. I have taken everything apart I moved the graphics card from the PCI e x8 to the PCI x16 I verified three times now the all the cables are properly connected, I am stuck on this, any help would be appreciated

Solution
It won't run because the motherboard doesn't have a compatible BIOS FOR Kaby Lake CPU's , you need a Z270 board.

That board can't update the BIOS without a CPU , so unless you know someone that has a Skylake , you need a next generation board.
