Can't find a driver for ethernet that works with my motherboard?

I have a Gigabyte 970A-DS3P motherboard with an Ethernet port at the back. I have the Ethernet cable connected to my router, and it lights up when I plug it in. The connection, as far as I'm aware, is all good. Problem is, I cannot find a driver which allows the Ethernet connection to actually work with my computer. I'm running Windows 7 64-Bit - if anyone can find anything, I'd really appreciate it. :)

Tried the motherboard website, no luck. Although, I do have a disk. Say, if I took that disk and transferred the contents onto a USB and put that USB into my new PC (as it doesn't have an optical drive) would I have any luck? I'll give it a try. :)

After I've installed the motherboard disc drivers (which I should've thought to do anyway) if the ethernet does not succeed, I'll download the driver you've linked. I was on that page, but I download the Realtek Ethernet Diagnostic Utility because I'm stupid. :pt1cable:

I would just use the driver from the site if you have the option. The driver on that disc is likely old and out of date, however it should still work.

So will using the driver on the disc affect performance? I still want to install the other stuff on the disc because there's some antivirus and other things on there, but if the driver on the website is going to be faster, I'll make use of that one. Thoughts? :p

Everthing on that disc is on the site. I have no idea if it will affect performance but they update those drivers for a reason. I would never install some anti virus that came on a mobo driver CD, Its probably awful and also out of date.

Hmm, okay. Should I go for it and install the website's one additionally then?
EDIT: On the disc, the exact same driver was found. I've installed it now. :D
