Ddr3 not compatible with my Prozessor. Can't believe it took me this long to figure this out

Specs:

New:

GA-Z170-hd3 ddr3
I5 7600k

Old:

GA-MA770T-UD3
AMD phenom II x4
Radeon r9 280x
8 GB of RAM

-4GB Kingston hyperX (khx1600c9d3k2/4gx)

-4GB mustang 1333 (cl9 e1145)

GS 700

I just bought the Mobo & CPU and after setting everything up the computer won't post. All fans are spinning and the lights are all on.
I have connected all the cables.
I know the other parts work perfectly since they still work with the old parts.

I had returned the Mobo/CPU a few days ago since I had gotten a faulty Mobo. CPU has been checked and I received a new mobo so those shouldn't be faulty.

I breadboarded without RAM and the motherboard is giving the long beeps to signal that memory is missing so I assume it's working fine. I checked the website and my Kingston RAM is compatible with the Mobo, but using only that changes nothing.

I have also cleared the CMOS by shorting and by removing the battery without a change.

When I first started the PC it shut down once and the restarted immediately.

I did try the long checklist and went through multiple other threads on here, but nothing helped so far.
Any ideas?

Solution
My bad looked at the wrong board: You need DDR3L and a BIOS update on that board to run Kaby.

You need a Skylake CPU to update the BIOS or a Z270 board with the appropriate ram.
