Hey everyone, this is my first time posting on here and as the title of this thread suggests, I'm trying to build a gaming PC but first of all I need your help in deciding which components to get. Although I don't have a fixed budget at the moment, I'd still like to not go all out on my first build. Also just to provide some context, the reason why I'm thinking of building a PC is because I play BeamNG drive and post video montages of that game on YouTube. I'm currently running an HP laptop that has an i7-4722 CPU and a GTX950m GPU whose performance has slightly decreased since it was bought a little more than a year ago.

This is the link to the build components so far on pcpartpicker: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/j3zPYr

Now I've pretty much decided on the GPU and CPU but I wanted to ask you guys about the motherboard, RAM, and hard drive. What is it that I should be looking for when buying any of those components? Do you guys happen to know if that's a good motherboard or if there's any same or better ones (that include a wifi card as my modem is located in another room) at a lower price? Also is the hybrid hard drive better than an SSD-HDD combo for a gaming PC? In regards to RAM, would there be a huge effect on performance if I get an 8GB instead of a 16GB in order to reduce the build costs? Can the build be done in a different way in order to keep the same performance but decrease its costs?

Hopefully this thread is under the right section of this forum and can't wait to hear your comments and suggestions regarding the build.

Solution
if you can find a Cryorig H5 as CPU cooler for less, that'd be preferable
for the screen you've picked a RX480, or GTX 1060 would be totally sufficient as well and knock around 200$ off

I live in Canada so that may complicate things a bit but I'm thinking of not going over $2000 (which is about $1530 USD).
