Dear Readers,

Today i've been encountering a problem with a specific motherboard (Medion MS-7797).

I upgraded a pre-build system of a friend of mine after he told me that his computer was keep shutting down Immediately after he was pressing the on/off button.

At first, i upgraded the system with a pair of RAM. After that you could start the system, but after a few minutes it was shutting down again. After that i ordered a new PSU of 600W. I've been installing the PSU and after that i upgraded it with a new GPU (Sapphire 7970 oc-Boost, 300W) So it was completed and new.

When i was pressing the power button of the computer it gave 1 long beep and 2 short beeps with means a monitor or GPU problem. After this problem i removed the GPU and started it again, didn't work. I switched and removed the RAM with and without GPU, no succes. I tested the old Power supply and with no luck. I even did reset the bios with the jumpers.

What can i do? I've almost been testing everything i guess.

System :

Medion MS-7797
8GB DDR3 (Crucial 2x4 1600Mhz)
Old GPU ; Geforce 650m
New GPU ; Sapphire 7970 OC-Boost 3GB
Samsung EVO 750 250GB
HDD 1TB
Intelcore i7 3770 (Socket 1155)
Old wack PSU ; 450Watt
New PSU : Coolermaster 600Watt (Not modulair)

Any tips or help?

THANKS already.

Solution
Can you connect the monitor to the motherboard (graphics card removed)? If yes, and starting the board with single RAM module installed, are you getting signal on the monitor (test each RAM slot)?
