Need help recovering .aep files

Did a format before windows installation now the files are gone on that drive, need some type of recovery program to help find the files, Stellar Phoenix isn't helping much so far and Recuva I don't think can find .aep files in general anyways

If you aren't getting much luck with the standard set of tools, it may be time to send off to a professional if you need the files that badly. My concern is that the format actually wiped the space instead of just deleting the pointers to the files. Once the files are wiped it becomes VERY difficult to recover even for a professional.

These were on the same drive you installed the OS on?

If the standard consumer grade tools can't find it (try Recuva and TestDisk), then you're pretty much out of luck.
