CPU Temps and coolers.

Right now according to a few different programs my CPU temp idles between 40 and 45 Celsius and my CPU core Idles right around 30 Celsius. Depending on the game it goes up to 50 to 60 Celsius on the CPU, 40-45 Celsius on the core.

I was going to look into getting the Cooler Master 212 Evo however to install this in my case I would need to take out the two top mounted 120mm fans leaving only a fan at the front blowing in and a fan of the back blowing out.

Would this be sufficient Cooling for the rest of my rig once I added the CPU Cooler?

Solution
I ended up ordering the 212 EVO cooler, upon taking the stock heat sink off I noticed the thermal paste was pretty splotchy and hard/dried looking. That may have been the whole problem after all.

I went ahead with the install, at idle now I am CPU 32.5C and Core1-6 14.9C.
I ran Prime95 for about 3 minutes and hit CPU 47C and Core1-6 31.6C

It was a learning experience and my temps are now lower, so all ends well. Now I just need 3 super quiet fans! :)

It is some sort of Azza case, it was a pre-built cyberpowerpc computer that I've slowly been upgrading. In the hopefully but doubtfull near future I plan on a new case and mobo but, anyways.

Right now it has the stock cooler for the amd fx-6300. With the CPU fan [80mm?] plus 4 120mm fans it is quite noisey and I feel the Temps are just too high at idle.

idle is fine to me

about noie, well, you have lots os fans

for a pc line this, two fans pusing air in and one fan pulling air out should be enough i think

also, good quality fans will make less noise but sometimes the panels of the case, well, the holes more specifically are what makes the noise, that is why lots of people with chepa cases cut the holes and put something like this

did the heatsink used thermal pad instead of thermal paste? probably the case, i think you had the stock cooler, right?

anyway, the new evo should run cooler and more silent, so probably it will be a general improvement

those values look even better!
