Hello. I am experiencing some difficulties updating my video card driver on my laptop. My O.S. has been recently reloaded by ASUS. I couldn’t find my video card (NVIDIA Gforce 960) from device manager ever since. Even though I do have a software installed as NVIDIA Gforce in my laptop, however, I couldn’t update it. Please provide some solutions to me. Thanks.

Solution
Go to nVidia's website and download the latest driver:
http://www.geforce.com/drivers
Your's will be the 960M, after downloading, just install it. If you want to completely remove the old driver during the install, click custom installation and check the box after that for a clean installation.

Only download drivers from the ASUS web site for your laptop. ASUS drivers are likely tweaked to keep the graphics card within power and thermal limitations. Drivers direct from NVidia will not be restricted like that. If ASUS has tweaked the drivers, then installing drivers from NVidia may cause your system or overheat and/or crash unexpectedly.
