Hang on Post, Won't Boot to Win10 without reset button

Could this be a mobo problem? Cold start hangs on ASUS logo, then I hit reset, then loads Win10 fine. Mobo is X99 and a year old. OS drive is M.2 Samsung 950.

Power off then switch the cmos select switch to the other (backup) cmos and see if it now boots normally. It could be a corrupt bios.

I have a Clear CMOS button and a Reset switch on my mobo. I tried updating to latest BIOS and it said invalid file or something similar. Getting concerned.
