Pretty much what the title says. Should I get a 1 year old samsung 850 evo 250gb for $90 or adata su800 240gb brand new for $99? This is in Canadian $$$ btw.
There's no telling how much the EVO has been used, so I would recommend getting a new one. Samsung makes very nice SSDs, so if you can find one at a decent price, get it. I'm not too familiar with Adata SSDs.

Actually, if you run Samsung Magician (software that came with the SSD) on the system with the Samsung drive installed, it'll tell you exactly how much the drive has been used.

Unfortunately, that is only after you've bought it.
Depending on where it came from, a 'refund' may be more trouble that it is worth.
