Is the I7 6700k compatible with Gigabyte H110M-H and Gigabyte H110M DS2?

Hello everyone in the forums
Now I'm getting a new pc at the end of my school year i saved up a lot of money to buy a cpu and gpu and im planning to choose a motherboard. this is just my temporary motherboard later on i will upgrade to a Z170,i have two options for choosing a temporary MOBO
Gigabyte H110M-H:

Does these two motherboards compatible with the i7 6700k if it is do i have to update the bios and how?

All of those need BIOS F20 to support the 6700K.

If this BIOS isnt on any of them, you'll have to buy or borrow a cpu the mobo supports flash it then put the 6700K back in.

Or take it to a shop and ask them to do it

Can i update the bios myself like downloading the bios update from the website and put it in a usb and update it when i open the computer when i build it does this work?

The 6700k is natively supported by H110 boards. No BIOS update needed.

It's Gigabyte's way of confusing users. According to them, all CPUs require the latest BIOS version, which is not true.

the question is why you'd plant a 6700k on a H110 board
the 6700 non-k is just as fast in real life scenarios, costs 25$ less and comes with a heatsink already
