I was going to buy a custom pre-built pc but after some research i have found better hardware for a lot cheaper.

CPU - Intel i5 6600k Skylake
CPU COOLER - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
MOBO - MSI B150M Mortar Micro ATX LGA1151
HDD - 1 TB
SSD - 120GB
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming x 8Gb
CASE - Aerocool 1000
PSU Corsair CX600 80+ Bronze
RAM - HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2133MHz

Also, would it be better to build a pc yourself? i know the parts are cheaper

Would you consider a Corsair Carbide Series 100R Mid Tower Case? $49.99 on Amazon.

BTW...Congrats on your decision to build yourself, you wont regret it !
Building is usually the best way to go.
Get a z170 motherboard if you're gonna pay up for an unlocked CPU, or downgrade to a locked i5 6500 and save some money over marginal performance increases.

Use the money to get a newer CXM PSU or other good units ; EVGA G2/G3/GS, Corsair CXM/RMx, etc., Seasonic G series, etc.

I did have a look at that case, i'm not really a fan of the way it looks. It's either between the aerocool or the corsair spec alpha, i just really like the look of them
