Hi everyone!
I recently bought a 2 x 2gb ddr3 ram.
My Mobo is g41m-vs3 r2.0
I checked the dram frequency of my memory and it says 398mhz since it is a DDR it should be at 796mhz

So my question, is it normal for it to run at that speed or should i tweek some settings in the bios? I know that a lot of the same questions have been asked but it's really hard to decipher whether the suggestions of other people with different specs than mine is the same solutions to my problem

Timing: "In CPU-z Tab memory"
dram frequency: 398.8 mhz
fsb dram 1:2
cas#latency(CL) 6.0 clocks
ras to cas delay 6 clocks
ras precharge 6 clocks
cycle time 15 clocks
row refresh cycle time 78 clocks
command rate 2T

it says here that is runs at dual channel ddr3 4096 MBytes

PC specs:
mobo: g41m-vs3
cpu: intel pentium dual core e5300 FSB = 800 mhz
ram: 2 x 2gb ddr3 ram note: i have search the ram part but it is not currently available
graphics card: nvidia geforce gt630

So i lay down all the card advance Thank You for your precious time

- Cheers

Hi faust :)

Don't forget it's' DDR3 (double data rate) which is what you have.
Check in Bios and manually enter your Timings, Frequency and voltage or select your XMP profile.
Bios will generally do it for you however in some cases if you have issues then Tweak.
Your going to need more RAM eventually as 4GB is not enough for modern gaming.
