No Adaptive v-sync/Fast sync options in nvidia control panel

I need help guys,I am using a del i7559 laptop with nvidia gtx 960m 4GB laptop I bought it from someoen and fresh installed a windows 10.I installed drivers from the support website of dell but after that i opened nvidia graphics control panel and in the vertical sync dropdown menu there was no adaptive sync option.only on off and application controleld options.i tried installing drivers from the geforce website but no luck.

Adaptive VSYNC missing from notebooks with NVIDIA GPUs featuring Optimus technology
Adaptive V-SYNC is not available on notebooks which feature NVIDIA's Optimus hybrid GPU technology. Only notebooks which feature a Fermi class dedicated NVIDIA GPU and are supported by R300.xx or later drivers will include the Adaptive V-SYNC option in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

but bro in geforce website it was ssaid it supports both optimus and adaptive vsync technologies.... whats that ?
