Hello everyone,
i got a problem with my pc as title while i play some games like warhammer vermintide, battlerite, the witcher 3 the pc freeze and i can't alt-tab or ctrl-alt-canc. The game still works because i can hear game sounds and also chat on skype however i can't do nothing except manual restarting it. I've tried some stress test with memtest86 and 3D mark all went fine and with good results. I've borrowed a friend monitor just in case and was able to screenshot values when crash. Also with the same friend i've given him the gpu to try it and crashed to him also but he got a error msg and was able to alt-tab and close the game (F: device is his DVD reader). datas
Tried the Ghost Recon Wildlands closed beta and it crashed after like 2 mins playing with the gpu running at 1100-1200.
I think the problem is the gpu since it overclock itself over fabric values, shoul be base 1020 boost 1080 instead it goes from 1085 to 1150. Tried to lock it first with msi afterburns after with nvidia inspector but after the game start it doesn't keep values. I overclocked it and cpu with the as rock utility A-tuning but it doesn't work for downclock or restore previous values. Now i've unistalled it since it's crap and tried also the gigabyte oc guru II but same as afterburns it doesn't keep values. I wonder also how can i downclock the CPU since should be working at 3.5 instead it's working between 3.7-3.9 but maybe it's fine..?
I work also with maya and some 3D render software and haven't got any problems, it happens only with games.

Case: Corsair Carbide 500R
MoBo: AsRock Z87 Extreme4
CPU: I7 4770k with Shadow Rock 2 Be Quiet
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti
RAM: 2x4 GB g-skill ripjaws f3 cl9
PSU: Cooler Master V700
Monitor: Asus VG248QE
HDD: seagate barracuda 1TB
SSD: Samsung 840 evo 120GB
OS: Win10
