hard disk making click sound

Hi! I'm Alex, I recently bought a new hard drive 500gb bcz my old was making a click sound and became very slow so i replaced this hard drive with new one but since the first day it started to make click sound and freeze when im playing games or doing multitasking, idk it's my pc's problem or what. help me out guys

That hdd is dying already. What are the rest of your systems specs? (I need to know the psu in particular).

Back up the data stored on it.

Once you do that, you can test the drive: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
Also, you can attach it with different SATA and power cables to another SATA port.
