Might I ask how different is this thread from this thread?

They both are the same keyboards under neath since they both leverage the mem-chanical(faux)switch technology. As I've stated the y are not meant for people who already have a membrane keyboard but for those who are getting a keyboard for the first time. Yes the latter MasterKeys Lite L has the ability to change the lighting colors on the fly, it's not a full RGB as they state it to be. In fact how do you think you're able to control the RGB of the keyboard with only a few Function Keys? Yes, there is no software to control the lighting, it's all built in which begs to ask how many color options are available to you if the presets are pre-programmed?

There's a trend here on Tom'sHardware, if you're buying something that is similar to what you already have, it's not an upgrade, rather a waste of resources(time, effort, money and even grey matter).

Might I ask where you're located?

It was bit different in my opinion because this one has more lightning options and so on..I got it today, seeing this post after i got it,and i dont feel like i wasted money. It has better feeling than the membrane switches on the Devastator, the mouse has more DPI levels and feels more precise. Also i had my Devastator for 2 years and felt like its a good upgrade.
Sorry for late reply, and thanks for answering my questions!

Well, to each his own then. Glad to see you got yourself sorted out with a combo, I just hope it's not a placebo affect :p

Regardless, if you have the time, it'd offer more insight to the community about your experience to those in the market who'd like to invest in such a setup.
